MORPHOLOGICAL DESCRIPTION

It is a medium-sized tree of the Rutaceae family that grows up to 3-5 m in height, with a round top and regular branches. It has a single trunk, straight and cylindrical, green first that later turns grey. The branches appear at a height of approximately one metre above the ground.

PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS (ORGANOLEPTIC):

  • Colour and appearance: colourless yellow to dark yellow to orange
  • Scent: characteristic, citric, fresh and intensequimiotipo naranja

CHEMICAL FAMILY OF THE AROMATIC MOLECULES: Limonene

Belongs to the group of Monoterpenes.

CULINARY ACTIVITY:

Thanks to its pleasant taste and refreshing properties, it is one of the most consumed fruits. This chemotyped essential oil enhances flavours and is especially used in beverages and desserts.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:

Take it always diluted, 1-2 drops in 250 g of nourishment (juice, tea, salads…). Maximum 3 times a day.
